Terry Skinner came to Daufuskie Island Elementary in the 2000-2001 school year, replacing Catherine Campbell as Head Teacher and taking up teaching responsibilities of the k-5 through second grade students. Mrs. Skinner came to Daufuskie from Chappaqua, New York where she taught fifth grade classes.

Nancy Bull took over teaching the fourth through eighth grade students in January of 2001. She has taught in numerous other multi-age setting schools including the Blackfeet Native American Reservation in Browning, MT.

Jim Frazier came to Daufuskie from South America where he was teaching. He has taken over the teachers aid position and is also teaching the students spanish.

 

Betsy Strickland is the special needs/speach therapy teacher at the Daufuskie Island Elementary. She makes the trip to Daufuskie several days a week from Hilton Head where she lives.
