Allendale County, South Carolina on the Savannah River, Welcome!

There are some beautiful and relatively unique houses in Allendale County, some of which assist in dispelling the myth that all southern houses are columned "Gone With The Wind" plantation manor houses.  I don't know about yours, but my ancestors were working class farmers.
