Thomas Jones Jeffords and his wife Elizabeth Winningham (need Proof)
were living in Bluffton when the first child William Henry Jeffords was born
in 1855, and their second son, Julius Samuel LaLare Jeffords was born in
1857. Two additional children were born in Bluffton, Sarah Ella in 1859 and
Frances Harriett in 1862. The family moved back to Charleston where Thomas
enlisted in the Carolina 11th. Any information on this familiy appreciated. |

Seeking information on Micah Jenkins born about 1795 on Edisto
Island, SC. date of death and place unknown. He married Martha Jenkins his
first cousin in 1817. She was born in 1796 and died Jan. 29, 1857 and is
buried at Sheldon Church. Micah owned a plantation on Mackays Point next
to his sister Abagail Mackay. Both were destroyed in the Battle of Pocotaligo.
The land was sold at a sheriffs auction in 1882 or 83 or a Mrs. Richardson
for $100. Micah Sr. was no longer alive at that time. His sons Richard, Miach
and Benjamin were Ann and Elizabeth Grimball who married Isaac Grimball.
Sarah married John Laroche, Ann and Richard never married. Micah Jr. married
Eloise Tucker Green and died in Brunson SC between 1889 and 93. I am also
looking for more information on him He was in the Beaufort Volunteer Artillery.
He was born in 1836 on Edisto Island. Any information on either of the Micah's
or Benjamin or for that matter the family would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for information on Timothy T. Joyner born about 1854,
his father was William S. Joyner, Timothy married Carrie P. Whaley daughter
of James E. Whaley and Jessie Randolph, known children of Timothy and Carrie
: William S., Sarah and John James Joyner. Timothy had a sister Irene who
married a Gregg and lived in Summerville, SC. record show that Timothy was
from the Beaufort area, he father is buried in Summerville Cemetery (Magnolia).
