Page 704: Indenture made 1 June 1763. Between Thomas Cogbill of Dale Parish & Chest. Co., and Daniel Gill, same co. and parish. Cogbill sold 245 acres to Gill. "Bounded by Henry Walthall and Daniel Jackson's lines lying on the north side of Swift Creek....." Recorded: 1 June 1764.

Page 19: Indenture made 15 March 1764. Between Daniel Gill of Chest. Co., and Roger Atkinson of Dinwiddie Co., merchant. Gill sold 200 acres on north side of Appomattox River & on the south side of Swift Creek. Mentions Mr. Thomas Batts former line but since Mr. John Herbert's; North side of Log Branch adjoining to John Peter Bonnan's line; Old Town Creek; above the Great Meddon. Formerly conveyed by Laurence Hobby to John Gill and Mary his wife. Deed in Henrico Co. Recorded: 15 March 1764.
Page 501: Indenture made 5 June 1767. Between Robert Gill of Chest. Co., and Isham Wells. Gill sold 300 acres on the north side of Second Branch, joining lands of Gardner Vaden and George Cogbill and Michael Wells. Witnesses: George Robertson, Edward Archer.
