Page 110: Will of Jacob Gill of Dale Parish and Chesterfield Co. Item: To Jacob Handy, son of Elizabeth Handy, land & Plantation whereon I now live, containing 140 acres.  Item: Elizabeth Handy, widow of Daniel Handy, may live on said land during her natural life. Also, all my Estate both real and personal. Executor: Elizabeth Handy. Dated: 7 Oct. 1766. Jacob Gill (mark)

Page 115: Will of John Gill of Dale Parish and Chesterfield Co. Item: To nephew John Gill, son of my brother, Peter Gill, 200 acres on north side of Youle's Branch, adjoining Thomas Dance, Thomas Rowlett, and William Totty Senr.  This was the upper part of 400 acres of land that fell to me by my brother Webster Gill, and the part whereon the plantation stands. Item: To Edward Dance, son of Thomas Dance, the remaining part of the said tract of 400 acres.

  1. Item: To Neil McCarin, 100 acres on south side of Wintepock Rode, and on the north side of Youle's Branch.
  2. Item: To James Gill one tract of land on the head of White Oak Branch, the south side of Wintepock Rode (mentions John Cousin's line, path from Daniel Gill's). Item: To brother Daniel Gill, land whereon I now live, one Negro man named Dick, stock, etc.
