George Newton Gill was born in Independence Co., AR in 1846. He married Louisa CARSON.

Their children were:

  1. Isaac Newton GIll Isaac Newton married Laura Frances BROOKS. They moved their family to Wheeler Co., TX about 1920-21. They later moved to Hansford Co., TX. Jane and Minnie married brothers named CANNON. They also settled in Wheeler Co., TX. They also show up in Beckham Co. OK.

  3. Jane Gill
  4. Minnie Gill
  5. Annie Gill
  6. William Gill
  7. Albert Gill
  8. Manerva Gill
