Page 350: April Court 1794. Ordered that John Gill, Sr., Samuel Brown?, Armistead Daves, and Grief Royall, or any three of them being first sworn do appraise the slaves if any and personal Estate of Allen Granger, deceased, and return an appraisement thereof to the Court.

Page 377: May Court 1794. Ordered that Thomas Totty’s Executor pay Jn. Gill 25 lb. tobacco for one days attendance at this Court as witness for the said Exec. against Armistead and Thomas Daves.

Page 382: May Term 1794. Thomas Martin (P) vs. Rowlett Gill and William Rowlett, Executors of the last Will and Testament of James Gill, deceased (D).  Decision: The Execs. of the Defendant pay to the Plaintiff the sum of thiry-seven Pounds (17?) shillings and four pence three farthings.

Page 417: July Court 1794. A deed from James Gill to ( ? ) Perkinson was proved by the oaths of Thomas Barfoot and William (?), two of the witnesses thereto and continued for further proof.

Page 485: Sept. Court 1794. A deed from James Gill and Suckey his wife which said Suckey is an Executrix of William Harding, deceased, to ( ? ) Daves, was acknowledged by the said Gill and continued for further proof.

Page 562: 8 Dec. 1794. The last Will and Testament of James Gill, deceased, was presented in Court by William Rowlett and Rowlett Gill, Executors therein named, proved by the oaths of Edward Dance and Baxter Perkinson, witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of the said Executors, who gave Bond and took the oath required by Law, a Certificate of having obtained a probate thereof in due form is granted them.

Page 568: Dec. Court 1794. Ordered that John Hill, Frederick Traylor, Edward Dance, and John Burton?, or any of them being first sworn, do appraise the slaves (if any) and personal Estate of James Gill, deceased, and return an appraisement to the Court.

Page 581: Jan. Court 1795. Rowlett Gill appointed Guardian to William and Thomas Cousins and thereupon gave Bond as required by Law.

Page 582: Jan. Court 1795. Rowlett Gill producing his Commission was sworn a Lieutenant in the Militia of this County according to Law.
