Henry Gill "Lowland Scot, relocated to Ireland by the English
Henry Gill, Jr. Oath of Allegiance in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. in 1785
I seek information on Henry Gill Jr. who is alleged to emigrate to America circa 1785. (there is an Oath of Allegiance dated 1785 in Chester County, PA ) It was also stated that this gentleman married contrary to his religion and was ,as such, a dissident who was requested to leave his country. His father , also a Henry was called a Lowland Scot who was relocated to Ireland by England.
