(1860 census, Huntingdon County, Franklin twp. ) Property value $50, Cooper by trade, religion Methodist. 1870 census for Franklin twp, Neffs Mills, lists Maria (Anna) 57, keeps house, property value $150, her parents were "foreign born".  James is not listed. Children; Joe Gill 19, laborer....George Gill 12.

  • Fannie Gill born 1869.  1900 census approx ten neighbors down from Joseph Gill was listed; Robert Archey b Feb 1868 age 32 and wife Fannie (Gill) Archey b Dec 1869,...children Elsie and Nellie also a border is listed being Virgina Gill age 15. Fannie Gill is the dtr of Irvin and Virginia the dtr of Joseph. Joe and Irvin are brothers.

• Joseph Gill born 1851, 9 in 1860 census, laborer in 1870 census.  The 1900 census lists Joseph Gill 49 and his wife Mary Caroline Everhart b1875.

  • Tammy Mae Gill b 18 Feb 1883, died 16 Jan 1973 m Joseph S Snyder.
  • Virginia Gill born 9 July 1884 and died 18 Sept 1982 M Charles Fleck.  She was  listed as a border with her first cousin Fannie Gill, above, in the 1900 census.
  • Elmer Robert Gill born 3 Apr 1885 and died 7 Apr 1965 m Bertha Wyland.
  • Andrew Gill born 25 Nov 1887 died 9 Jan 1956 m Nettie Mae Leighty. This is the line of V.R. Beach.
  • William H. Gill born May 1890 m Rachael M McIntosh.
  • Charles Raymond Gill born 1893 died 1962 m1^st Harriet Salome Echard 2^nd Eva Wobridge.
