Page 83: April Court 1788. On the motion of Eams Administration of the Estate of Susannah Dance, deceased, is granted him, he thereupon gave Bond and took the oath required by Law. John Gill heir at law to the said Susannah Dance came into Court and relinquished his Right of Administration on the same.

Page 310: March Court 1792. Ordered that (Creed Berry?) and John Gill pay John Gibbs 25 lb. tobacco for one days attendance at this Court as a witness for the said (Berry?) and Gill vs. John Nunnally.

Page 194: August Court 1793. Ordered that Thomas Totty’s administrator pay Jn. Gill 25 lb. tobacco for one days attendance at this Court as witness for the said Executor against Armistead Daves and others.

Page 350: April Court 1794. Ordered that John Gill, Sr., Samuel Brown?, Armistead Daves, and Grief Royall, or any three of them being first sworn do appraise the slaves if any and personal Estate of Allen Granger, deceased, and return an appraisement thereof to the Court.

Page 377: May Court 1794. Ordered that Thomas Totty’s Executor pay Jn. Gill 25 lb. tobacco for one days attendance at this Court as witness for the said Exec. against Armistead and Thomas Daves.
