This whole thing is so hilarious that I have reproduced it completely.  You can easily enough find our two Gill pirates.  It seems that these pirates were captured by British warships, and in court, they all seem to have pleaded that they were simply captives of the pirates.  Nobody was a real pirate!  Read it for yourself.  It is pretty funny (well, not if you were one of the pirates!).  Details are in the link at the bottom.   I assume these people were all hung, but this record does not state the outcome of the trial.
