Ray was shot to death in Lexington County.  The guy, John Mayfeild, stood trial and was found not guilty they never let all the people testify. Mayfield had been prosecuted in the state of Ga for homicide by car and was found not guilty there also,. His dad was a lawyer and his mother worked for the government.  In school Ray was the captain of his baseball team and the basketball team.  He loved to hunt and fish every chance he got.

 June 19, 2003 - 61st Annual Watermelon Festival - Kelsie wins First Runner-Up in the Little Mr./Miss Melon Pageant at the Brunson Elem. School for Hampton County. She was very beautiful and very alert and friendly and smiling at the judges. We're so Proud!!!!!!!
