Will share known information. They are said to have lived sometime in GA.
Sam Davis ( b. about 1860 d. about 1923) was my great grandfather. He lived
the latter part of his life in and around the Jacksonboro area of Colleton
County. He is supposed to have been born and/or raised in Jasper County.
His wife Susan Ginn Davis (b. about 1860 d. 1935) was born and raised around
Gillisonville in Jasper County. The other names are siblings of Sam Davis

||Looking for information regarding Capt. Thomas DAWSON of Jasper
||I would like information on the two DAWSON graves located
off SC 462 and County Rd. 206 in Jasper County. This area is known as Dawson's
landing. The inscription on the single tombstone reads: Mary Dawson, (wife
of Richard Dawson), Died 27th December 1819, Aged 65 years -- Richard Dawson
Senr., 25th August 1836, Age 82 years.

Dobson. He was born in 1895 and was from Grays, or Grays Hill. both of his
parents died and he was sent to live with an Aunt in Florida. Her surname
is Boyne. we have no information on family, though there was contact with

||My husband's grandfather Lonnie Berrien Durden, Sr. was married
to Louise Blakely and they had 6 children born in Jasper County, Ridgeland,
SC and I understand he and his wife are buried in Ridgeland City Cemetary.
