Captain Levi Youmans' Company, SC Royalists, Muster Roll, Savannah, GA 1 Dec. 1779.  This troup is infamous for being composed of, and operating in and near, Jasper County, SC.  Oral tradition has it that Levi Youmans was so hated that he fled to a British possession in the Caribbean after the war.  Since they were in this area, this company may have faced off against Captain Peyer im Hoff's Patriots.
