  3. Charleston: First British Invasion of the South, 1776. Successful Defense of Charleston, 28 June 1776.  
  4. British Campaign in the South in 1778. Fall of Savannah, 29 Dec. 1778.
  5. Patriots Try to retake Savannah and fail, even with massive French aid, Fall of 1779.
  6. British Conquest of Augusta and North Georgia.  British took Ebenezer 2 January 1779, & mid January Augusta.
  7. Battle of Kettle Creek, GA, February 1779 ,victory for patriots.
  8. Battle of Briar Creek, March, 1779, patriots routed.
  9. Failed French and American Attack on Savannah 16 Sept 1779.  
  10. Fall of Charleston to British, 12 May 1780.
  11. King's Mountain, Ferguson destroyed, 7 Oct. 1780, a turning point at last!  
  12. Cowpens, 17 January 1781, General Morgan defeated Banistre Tarleton.
  13. Guilford Court House, 15 March 1781. General Green mutilated Cornwallis and then withdrew.
  14. Turning of the Tide, Augusta retaken 5 June 1781.  
  15. Eutaw Springs,  mixed results, 8 September 8 1781.  
  16. Cornwallis surrenders at Yorktown, Virginia, 19 October 1781.
  17. Savannah evacuated by British 11 July 1782.
  18. Charleston finally evacuated 13 Dec. 1782!
