Died in Columbia, S. C., Richland district, at the residence of her mother, on the 18th of April, and in the 22nd year of her age, Mrs. Ann Brennan, wife of Mr. Thomas Brennan, formerly merchant in Columbia, but now residing in Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Brerman was a lady of superior mind and strong intellectual powers. After much reflection and acquaintance with the Catholic religion, she made from conviction her profession of faith, and was received into the Catholic church a few months previous to her dissolution (leaving) an affectionate husband and a child unconscious of his loss (Apr. 23, 1833).
