Chester State Park

This state park offers hiking and equestrian facilities, plus a 165 acre lake in a hilly terrain. Several picnic shelters overlook the lake.

Landsford Canal State Park

This is a good place to see transportation history. It also makes a nice scenic hike for those who prefer flat trails, rather than mountainous ones.

Richburg Park

(Richburg)

The town park in Richburg, SC has an unusual feature. An old saddle-tank steam locomotive sits on display for visitors to look at. In addition, you will find picnic shelters, basketball and tennis courts, and a playground.
