Floydale Bridge Landing(Floydale) |
Situated on a peninsula in the Little Pee Dee River, when you enter here you are surrounded with Cypress Trees and Spanish Moss. Unfortunately, past users have trashed the place leaving litter all around. There is a picnic shelter overlooking the river, but all of the tables and benches have been destroyed by vandals. |
Little Pee Dee Bay Heritage Preserve |
Directly adjacent to the Little Pee Dee State Park is this Heritage Preserve which features a medium-sized Carolina Bay and a sand ridge. |
Little Pee Dee State Park |
This sandhills area has a variety of trees, plant life, and a nature trail which leads to a beaver pond. Several picnic areas and two playgrounds overlook a larger pond at the center of the park, with a developed campground nearby. The Little Pee Dee Bay Heritage Preserve lies directly adjacent to the west side of this state park. |
