This state park is a popular place for launching boats onto Lake Wateree. Many picnic tables overlook the lake, and there is a small playground. Several hiking trails wind around Desportes Island and the mainland. The camping area features a paved road with 72 campsites, some of which are on the lake. |
South Carolina Railroad Museum(Rockton) |
The Official Railroad Museum of South Carolina offers excursion rides over the restored portion of its 11-mile railroad. The train ride lasts approximately one hour. |
