Lots of hiking trails and picnic areas are to be found at this lakeside park.

Ninety Six National Historic Site

This is one of the more interesting military battle sites. The remains of the old Star Fort are still standing. You can also see a reconstruction of the Stockade Fort and an old log cabin that has been moved here.

Railroad and Mill Village Heritage Trail

(Greenwood)

In the town of Greenwood, South Carolina, you will find a bicycle trail built along an abandoned railroad right-of-way. It begins on Main Street and runs about 21/2 miles out to an old mill village.
