This is where it all begins if you are traveling the Palmetto Trail from southeast to northwest. The Awendaw Passage, which is also known as the Awendaw Connector, begins at the Buck Hall Recreation Area, located in the Francis Marion National Forest along the Intracoastal Waterway.
