This park was created as a monument to Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United States. There are several rustic looking buildings, including a museum, picnic shelters, and a meeting house. Hiking trails take you through terrain with some interesting plant life. The camping area features complete facilities, paved roads, and several lakeside campsites.

How to get there

Located on US #521, north of Lancaster, SC.

Take I-77 to exit #77 and go southeast on SC #5 for 19.2 kilometers. Turn left onto US #521 and go north 1.0 km. The park entrance will be on the right.
