This boat ramp north of Orangeburg provides access to the North Fork of the Edisto River. Note that parking here is limited, so this may not be a good place for large groups to meet.

Take I-26 to exit #145, which is US #601. Go south on US #601 for 6.3 kilometers, then turn right onto US #178. Go northwest on US #178 for 9.3 km., then turn left onto Shillings Bridge Road. Take this road 3.5 km. until you reach the Edisto River. Baughman's Landing will be on the right. Browse the Tiger map of the area Latitude 33.52612, Longitude -80.94718 |
