This park has a viewing area where you can see the Lake Thurmond Dam in action, as water from the lake spills into the Savannah River. A boat ramp and fishing piers are also available. To the south, you will find a riverside picnic area with a short hiking trail in the surrounding woods.

| How to get there |
The entrance is on the south side of US #221, east of the dam on the South Carolina side of Lake Thurmond. Take I-20 to exit #199 in Georgia. Go west on Georgia #104 (Washington Road) 1.5 kilometers and turn right onto Georgia #28 (Furys Ferry Road). Go north 11.3 km. to the Savannah River. Continue north on SC #28 11.5 km. into Clarks Hill, SC. Turn left onto US #221 and go west 1.7 km. The entrance to the visitors’ center will be on the left.
