Visit this historic site to tour the old Hampton Plantation mansion, see the Washington Oak tree, walk the nature trail, and look out over the old rice fields. This park in rural Charleston County is a great place to escape and relax. The house is open from 1:00p to 4:00p.

How to get there

Located off US #17 between Georgetown and McClellanville.

Take I-26 to exit #212 and go east on I-526 for 19.3 kilometers. Exit onto US #17 north, then go northeast on US #17 for 58.5 km. Turn left onto Rutledge Road (#857) and go north until you see the park entrance on the right side of the road.
