The Kalmia Gardens in Hartsville feature many species of plants, flowers, herbs, and greenery. Just behind them is the Segars Heritage Preserve, which has a series of trails and boardwalks where you can view the Black Creek and the swamp. In addition, the Sawyer Bike Path runs by the edge of the garden and down West Carolina Avenue.

Turn left onto West Carolina Avenue (SC #151 Business) and go west 2.5 miles (4.1 km.). Kalmia Gardens will be on the right.
