Located near the interchange of I-20 and I-77 just outside of Columbia, this is definitely one of the most convenient and accessible of the state parks in South Carolina. Situated in the middle of the Sandhills region, it features a pond surrounded by nature trails and picnic areas.

Sports facilities include soccer and softball fields, a basketball court, a 6.1 mile (9.8 km.) unpaved bicycle trail, and a fitness area with a jogging trail.

How to get there

The main entrance to Sesqui is at 9564 Two Notch Road in northeast Columbia. Take I-20 to exit #17 (US #1). Go northeast on Two Notch Road (US #1) 3.6 kilometers. The entrance will be on the right.

This park is adjacent to Polo Road Park an can also be accessed from there.
