Two Deaths At Dillon
Mrs Hanson S Blizzard and Mr D M Carmichael
Special to the State.
Dillon---May 14---Our town was shocked this morning by the announcement of
the death of Mrs Hanson B Blizzard. The dread messenger came last night at 3 o'clock.
A few short hours ago in her accustomed place, she was ministering to the wants and
brightening the hearts of a devoted husband and their two little girls. Today, in a
beautiful casket in the room where had presided as the genius of that house, now so
desolate, her loved form lies still in death, her arm enfolding the inanimate form
of the new born babe. Hers was a beautiful character and life in the short time she
has lived here, less than two years, she had won the hearts of all who met her.
Her stricken husband and little girls have the sincere sympathy of
the entire community.
