Death of Mrs R P Hamer, Sr
An Estimable Woman Passed Away Sunday at Little Rock
Special to the State.
Florence---Nov 10 1902---A telegram received in the city this morning announced
the death at Little Rock yesterday afternoon of Mrs R P Hamer, Sr. Mrs Hamer had been
a sufferer for a long time with bronchial affection and had been critically ill for some
time. Her sister, Mrs T H Harllee of this city, has been for several weeks with her.
Mrs Hamer was a Miss McCall a sister of James, Brooks and Dewitt McCall and of
Mrs Harllee and Mrs Howard. Her brothers went to Little Rock this morning to attend
the funeral. She was a most excellent woman and was well known in this county where
she grew up into womanhood. Her family and friends have the sympathy of a host of
friends in their sorrow.
