MR W THAD BETHEA
Mr W Thad Bethea died at Dillon, SC, April 29th. He was ill only a few hours, though his condition was such that his friends had been apprehensive for about two years.
Mr Bethea was connected with nearly all of the public enterprises of Dillon County. He was cashier of the Bank of Dillon, trustee of the Dillon high school, had been chairman of the County Democratic Convention, and was a member of the National Democratic Convention that nominated Woodrow Wilson.
Mr Bethea was chairman of the board of stewards of Dillon Methodist Church and he enjoyed the universal confidence of the people as a man of high integrity of character. He was one of the best friends we had on earth.
