William L Bethea
Bethea-- William L Bethea died early Saturday morning in Richmond, Va., where he went several weeks ago for
treatment. He was about forty-two years old. In his early manhood he was a manager of a large
merchantile business, of which he was a large stockholder. After the liquidation of the business
several years ago he devoted himself to farming. Mr Bethea is survived by four orphaned children,
his wife having preceded him to the grave only a few months. Two daughters and two sons survive him.
He belonged to a large and influential family, being the son of the late Dr Frank Bethea.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
