Mrs Sam Kinon-- Dillon
Mrs Sam Kinon, 49, died in St Eugene Hospital this morning after a long
illness. She was a daughter of Mr and Mrs J M Herring and had lived all of
her life in Dillon County. Her husband, Sam Kinon, is in St Eugene Hospital
seriously ill.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Marion Kinon, a student of the
University of South Carolina; two daughters, Mrs Michael Lecholok of
Louisville, Ohio, and Miss Carolyn Kinon of Dillon; a foster daughter, Miss
Sara Herring of McLeod's School of Nursing in Florence; two sisters and four
brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from
the residence with the Rev Frank Lyon in charge, assisted by the Rev Pierce E
Cook. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. (I believe the Sam and
Marion Herring Kinon have been moved from Riverside now.....cgk)
