Captain James L. Manning Killed in Action
A telegram received from the War Department Wednesday afternoon stated that Captain James L. Manning of Latta, who was reported missing, had been killed in action in Germany.
Relatives were informed several weeks ago that Captain Manning was missing and nothing further had been heard from him until yesterday. Captain Manning was a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Manning of Latta.
