Joseph Page Temple, Dillon Farmer Dies

Dillon, Feb 5--(Special)--Joseph Page Temple, 54, prominent farmet of the Lake View section died of a heart attack at seven o’clock this morning.

Mr Temple after graduating from the Citadel, class of 1912, went to Savannah, Ga., where he was engaged in the hotel business. In 1930 he returned to Lake View and was engaged in farming until his death. Mr Temple was the son of Mrs Alice Temple and the late L W Temple, prominently known in Dillon County.

He is survived by his widow, and two sons, Page Temple, Jr., special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation of New York City and Capt J B Temple of Ft McClellan, Ala.; the following brothers and sisters; Mrs W E Price of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs Louise R Daniels of Newbern, NC., Mrs Hunter Hass of Gastonia, NC., A R Temple of New Orleans, La., Mrs Roy Grinnell of Southern Pines, NC. And Dr Wade Temple, Miss Alimae Temple and Mrs John Glass (could be Class…cgk) of Lake View; four grandchildren, Virginia Page Temple, Martha Temple, J B Temple, Jr., and James Temple.

Funeral services will be held at Lake View at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
