Anna Law Williamson Passes Wednesday
Mrs Anna Law Williamson, widow of the late M B Williamson, died in
St Eugene Hospital Wednesday morning after a long illness. She was born
on Aug 27, 1863, at Wentworth, NC., and had lived in Dillon for the last
11 years.
Surviving are one son, James L Williamson, a grandson, James L
Williamson, Jr., and a sister, Mrs W P Baker of Lumberton. Her other
grandson, Eli WWilliamson, lost his life in service.
Mrs Williamson was a loyal member of the Presbyterian Church, attending
all services regularly as long as her health would permit.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Bethea Funeral Home Thursday
afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev Fred J Hay in charge. Deacons of the
Presbyterian Church will serve as active pallbearers , and the elders will
serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will be at Lumberton.
