Mrs Henry W Allen Dies After An Illness

Mrs Olive Bethea Allen, wife of Henry Allen, died Thursday night at Durham, NC., after an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11am from the Bethea Funeral Home by the Rev Theron J Anderson, assisted by the Rev A M Simpson. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs Allen was born in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Robert and Grace Utley Bethea. She was 50 years old. She was a member of the Latta Baptist Church and also a member of Pineland Grange.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Carroll, Jack, and Laurie Wade, all of Latta; two sisters, Mrs Duncan Dew, Jr and Mrs W C Parham, Jr of Latta; and two grandsons.
