In Memoriam----Mrs H A Bethea
It is with great sorrow and deep realization of our loss that we, the members of the Women's Society for Christian Service, pay tribute to the memory of one of our loyal members, Mrs Eva Manning Bethea, who died November 27, 1949.
She was a devoted mother, a loving wife, and a true neighbor. She was a faithful church member, and a loyal supporter of its organizations.
In appreciation of her consecrated life among us, we offer the following resolutions:
First: That we bow in humble submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, who, in his infinite wisdom, has called her from our midst.
Second: That we shall be inspired and challenged by her noble life, and teh courageous way she upheld Christian ideals.
Third: That we extend to her bereaved family our sincere sympathy, praying God may comfort them.
Fourth: That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family, and a copy inscribed in our minutes, dedicated to her memory, and one be sent to the Southern Christian Advocate.
