Aaron L Byrd

Dillon, Jan 31—(Special)—Aaron L Byrd, 73, died suddenly Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs Martha Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon from the Pentecostal Church with the Rev T M Swales and the Rev Harold Douglas in charge. Burial will be in Hayes Cemetery near Latta.

He is survived by five daughters, Mrs Martha Rogers, Mrs Genevieve Hayes, Mrs Cora Johnson of Dillon, Mrs Dannie Blackman of Horry County, and Mrs Hattie Mae McCormick of Hickory, NC; five sons, Paul and Preston of Dillon, Freeman of Latta, John of Conway and Clyde of Springfield; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren; one sister and seven brothers.
