Mrs Cook, 84, of Dillon Dies

Dillon---Dec 4 (special)---Mrs Martha Cook, 84, died at her home following a lingering illness.

She was a daughter of the late Elijah and Nancy Clark Powers of Marlboro County.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs Mandy Height of Augusta, Ga., and Mrs Ella Cook, Mrs Sally Jackson, Mrs Bessie Blackman, Mrs Daisy McLellan, and Mrs Sara Carter of Dillon; four sons, Liston, Gaston, Phillip, and Boyd Cook of Dillon; one sister, and six brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm from Pleasant Grove Church by the Rev W E Boss, with burial in the church cemetery.
