Mrs Mary Wilkes At Bennettsville

Dillon---Aug 18 (special)---Mrs Mary Barfield Wilkes, 61, died in a Bennettsville hospital Monday following a critical illness of ten days.

She was the daughter of the late Tom and Becky Anne Hubbard Barfield.

Survivors include ten sons, Harvey, Belton, J C., Wyman and Bishop of Dillon County; P C of Asheville, NC; Corbett of Dothan Alabama; Charlie Jr., of US Air Force; Vernon Hardy of Clinton and Tillman Wilkes of Red Springs; two sisters, Mrs Marcella Branch of Dillon and Mrs Lilly Hyatt of Little Rock; and two brothers, Tom and Jesse Barfield of Dillon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Wednessday afternoon from Williams Funeral Home by the Rev P O Batson. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
