Mrs. Sadie Smith

Lake View -- Mrs. Sadie M. Smith, 93, of Lake View, died Sunday morning in a Mullins hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at the Lake View Methodist Church Monday at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Burial was in the Lake View Cemetery.

Surviving: are one son, A.C. (Gus) Smith of Lake View; one daughter, Mrs. O.B. (Alice) Murray, of Chattanooga, Tenn; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith was the oldest living member of the Lake View Methodist and the last surviving charter member.
