Jerry Wayne Snipes, Young Boy Dies

Jerry Wayne Snipes, 9 years old, died unexpectedly Tuesday. He was the son of Lloyd and Vera Lee Byrd Snipes of Dillon County.

Survivors include his parents, four brothers, Harold, Willie, Robert, and Nelson Snipes; a sister, Vonnie Lee Snipes; paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs W B Snipes.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 11 am, at Pyerian Church by Rev Lamar Hardwick and Rev James Albertson. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
