J C Usher

John C Usher, 65, died Friday in a Florence hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Bethea Funeral Home. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with the Rev E L Davidson officiating.

He was a son of the late Sam and Pearl Pate Usher of the Minturn community.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Myrtle Smith Usher of Latta; one daughter, Mrs Susan Block of Marion, Iowa; two brothers, Marion Usher of Minturn and Sam Usher of Dillon; five sisters, Mrs Austin Smith of Dillon, Mrs Minnie Edens of Dillon, Mrs L A Steele of Myrtle Beach, Mrs F E Schaffer of Charleston, and Mrs Bert Norton of Latta.
