Dewey Bethea

Sumter---Dewey Bethea, 75, died Friday at his home.

Mr Bethea was born in Little Rock and was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Elsie Hobbs of Ocean Drive and Mrs Nellie Cheek of Mineral, Va; two sons, W A Bethea and D L Bethea of Sumter; and a sister, Mrs Maude Hyatt of Dillon.

Services will be 4pm today at the Shelly Brunson Funeral Home with burial in Sumter Cemetery.
