Bertha M Jones

Dillon--Mrs Bertha McCormick Jones, 74, died at her home Wednesday.

Born in Dillon County, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Julie Ann Miller Herring. Surviving are three sons, Ernest McCormick of Hopewell, Va, Thad McCormick of Dillon, and Leon H McCormick of Richmond Va; a sister, Mrs G H Tyler of Loris; a brother, Carson Herring of St Pauls, NC; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services will be 5pm today in East Dillon Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is in charge.
