MRS. EMMA M. TAYLOR (Wife of Clarence Chancellor Butler)

May 16th, 1975, Page 18A, Col. 3

Florence--Mrs. Emma M. Taylor, 77, died Thursday in Oak Haven Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Dillon County, a daughter of the late William M. and Mary Turner Taylor.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Butler of Florence and Mrs. Emma Jean Hayes of Anderson; a son, Clarence Butler of Richmond, Virginia; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Wethington of Florence, Mrs. Mary E. Jones of Mullins and Mrs. Myrtle Jones of Fortuna, California; three brothers, John Taylor of Laurinburg, N. C., Luther Taylor of Dillon and Monroe Taylor of Florida; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 3 p. m. Saturday at Waters Funeral Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon.
