David Kitt Bethea

David K Bethea
Fork--David Kitt Bethea, 71, retired farmer, died Saturday.
Born in Dillon County, he was a son of the late Laurence Kitt and Hattie Rogers
Bethea. He was a member and elder of Fork Presbyterian Church, a member of Fork
Masonic Lodge No 258, a Shriner, a former trustee of Lake View School District No 1
and an Air Force Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Mary Florence Edwards Bethea; a son, David K
Bethea, Jr., of Dillon; a daughter, Mrs Johnny (Mary Kitt) Best of Fork; sisters, Mrs
Bennie (Clara) Rogers of Lake View and Mrs Eugene H (Coleen) Bethea of Columbia;
and granddaughters.
Services will be held at 4pm today at Fork Presbyterian Church with burial in
Lake View Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Fork Presbyterian Church.
Meares Funeral Home of Mullins is in charge.
