Robert E Cook

Dillon---Robert Elvin Cook, 47, died Wednesday after a long illness.

Born in Dillon, he was a son of James Edwin and Mrs Martha Brown Cook. He was a painter and a member of the Dillon Church of God.

Surviving are a son, Bob Cook of Wanague, NJ; his parents of Dillon; brothers, James L Cook of Columbia and Major Cook of West Columbia; sisters Mrs Dorothy Ruiz of Gaston and Mrs Naomi Edwards of Latta.

Services will be held at 3pm today at the Dillon Church of God, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Blanton Funeral Home is in charge.
