Pamplico--Funeral services for Mrs Mildred Haselden Finklea will be at 11 am Friday in First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, directed by Cain Funeral Home of Florence.
Mrs Finklea, 70, died Tuesday in a Florence hospital of an apparent heart attack.
She was born in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Hampton Berry and Mary Beulah Allen Haselden. She was the widow of A G Finklea. She was a registered nurse who worked at McLeod Infirmary and with the late Dr George Smith and Drs Cutler and Boysia of Florence before she retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern star of Pamplico.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Oliver Head of Chadda Ford, Pa.; a son, the Rev A G Finklea, II of Cades; a sister, Mrs M L Dail of Wilmington, NC.; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the church or American Heart Association.
The family will be at the home in Pamplico and will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Thursday in the funeral home.
