Wallie J McKenzie

Dillon---Wallie James McKenzie, 68, died Tuesday. Born in Dillon County, he was a son of the late Fred and Fannie Herring McKenzie. He was a retired textile employee and a World War II Navy veteran.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Willie Mae McKenzie; daughters, Mrs Mary Caulder, Mrs Wanda Nobles, Mrs Linda Height, and Mrs Teresa Cook of Dillon, and Mrs Virginia Cannon of Greenville; sons, Harold McKenzie of Charleston, Larry McKenzie of San Mateo, Fla, and Harry and William McKenzie of Dillon; sisters, Mrs Maxie Nunnery and Mrs Marilyn Norris of Florence and Mrs Grace Lane of Gastonia, NC., grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3pm Thursday at Congregational Holiness Church. Burial with military honors will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is (in) charge. (in was left out of the obit in the paper)
